From 25 October 2021 London’s Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) will be expanding to create a single larger zone up to, but not including the North Circular Road (A406) and South Circular Road (A205).

The expansion of the ULEZ will be increased 18-fold as the Mayor tackles the number of Londoners living in areas exceeding legal limits on nitrogen oxides.

If your vehicle does not meet the new Euro VI Nitrogen Oxide and particulate matter emissions standards, you will be obliged to pay an additional charge.

According to Transport for London, since the introduction of the Low Emission Zone in 2017, the number of vehicles meeting the strict emission standards have risen from 39% to more than 80%.

Here at Lorry Route, you can generate routes to avoid or use ULEZ’s. We allow you to control your costs depending on which route is more cost-efficient to your business. Is a longer route more expensive or cheaper than a shorter route with a LEZ entry fee? Ultimately, we allow you to make decisions that will save your business money.
